Educator

My teaching philosophy is grounded in inclusion, authenticity, consent, and the belief that creativity thrives when students are given the space to play, fail, explore, and take courageous ownership of their voices. My goal is to equip students with the tools and confidence to bring their whole selves into their work and into the world. I don’t believe in one “right” way to be an actor and storyteller. Instead, I help students investigate different approaches, techniques, and processes so they can find what works for them.
Ultimately, I strive to teach acting as a space of collaboration and empowerment: a way for young artists to access their own stories, connect and communicate more deeply with others, and create with intention, nuance, elasticity, rigour, agency, and joy.
